Publisher Smith, Elder, & Co., 15 Waterloo Place, London; printed by Spottiswoode and Co., London. Stanley J. Keyes bookplate, ex-libris. Each volume in yellow cloth case with yellow cloth and leather slipcases. 5 1/2" x 8 5/8".
Bumped corners, wear to red cloth boards and spines, bindings loose, cloth separating from binding volume I, pink residue to front pastedowns, cloth starting to separate from binding volume II, minor foxing; scratches and wear to slipcases.
Provenance: private collection, New York City, thence by descent.
