Bumped corners, shelf wear, wear and fraying to cloth on spines, scratches to covers, binding loose, notations in pencil front endpaper volume I, minimal foxing.
Provenance: Ximenes Rare Books, New York, 10/12/1970; private collection, New York City; thence by descent.
