Lot 369:
After Arnold Bocklin (Switzerland, 1827-1901). Oil on canvas laid down on board after Bocklin’s Island of the Dead. 14 1/2" x 21 1/2" (with frame 20 1/2" x 28"). Restorations and inpainting throughout, varnished, tears and paint loss in center, some crazing throughout; board loose in frame, chips and losses to frame.
