Mark Catesby (England, 1683-1749). Hand colored ornithological engraving The Blew Grosbeak, plate 39 from Natural History of Carolina, Florida and the Bahama Islands, third edition. Sight size 15 3/4" x 11" (with frame 24 1/4" x 19"). Some foxing above bird and along right side.
