Oil on canvas laid down on board, seascape with folk art sailors in foreground. Signed illegibly lower left. 16 1/2" x 28 1/4" (with frame 22 1/2" x 32 1/2"). Varnished, crazing throughout, inpainting in sky and water, canvas separating from board, paint loss center left and lower left through signature. Chips and losses to gilt frame.
