American Classical marble top pier table. 19th century. Inlaid mahogany, white marble top and column-form pilasters, paw feet. Heavy staining, scratches and dirt to marble top. Large chips to marble near center. Chips to front edge and right rounded corner of marble. Chips to back edge of marble. Losses to gilt on top of left pilaster and to bases and tops of columns on either side of mirror. Chips and losses to carved wood of all four paw feet. Cracking and splits to wood and veneer on apron and lower tier. Staining and dirt throughout entirety of pier table.
