Pair of Louis XV style fauteils or open armchairs. Carved gilt armchairs with floral motif-decorated upholstery. Losses and chips to gilt and gesso throughout frames of both chairs. Splitting and separations to wood on frame of back and arms and legs from stretcher and apron on both chairs. Right arm of one chair is very loose and is not secure to chair back and seat. 36 1/4" H x 24 1/2" L x 24 1/2" W. Seat height 15", arm height 24 1/2".
