Hanging outdoor sign from the now closed Punch Bar and Grill on Broadway from Manhattan’s Flatiron District. New York, 20th century. Cast iron frame and letters, sheet metal jester’s hat, powder coat paint. Cast iron horizontal sign support with safety chain from original location is included. Chips and paint loss to letters. Scuffs, marks and wear throughout metal of jester’s hat. Wear and rusting to cast iron support. Sign: 73"L x 34"W (widest point on hat), 69 1/4" H to top of hardware. Support: 84"L x 23 7/8"H x 23 3/8"W.
