Charles Warren Eaton (American, New York / New Jersey, 1857-1937). Oil on canvas laid down on Masonite landscape. Signed lower right Chas. Warren Eaton. 12" x 17 1/2" (with frame 16 1/4" x 21 3/4"). Tears and fraying to canvas at board on verso, repair to sky upper right, varnished, small red spots in sky upper left, some in painting to wheat stacks, some paint loss along top and bottom edges; chips and losses to gilt frame.
