Ramsay Richard Reinagle (England, 1775-1862). Oil on canvas, Part of a Claudian Aqueduct. Signed and dated R.R. Reinagle 1807, lower right and inscribed on verso "by R.R. Reinagle R.A., R. Nesham (?) 1883" and on stretcher "R. Nesham 1883" and "by R.R. Reinagle 1807 Part of a Claudian Aqueduct". With partial wax seal on stretcher and partial paper label on frame. 19 3/4" x 28 1/4" (with frame 27 7/8" x 36"). Repairs and inpainting to grass, below cattle, into aqueduct and to tree on right side and minor repair to sky; some chips and losses to frame.
