John Nelson Battenberg (American, 1931-2012). Aviator’s helmet, patinated bronze sculpture on plexiglass and wooden base. Signed and dated on the chin strap. With receipt from Krasner Gallery, Madison Avenue, New York, dated 1969. Sculpture 13"H, with base 18"H x 7 1/2"L x 9 3/4"W. Minor wear and losses to patina, scratches to Lucite on base.
