Pair of Regency tufted leather library chairs. 19th century. Salmon colored leather, nailhead trim. Wrinkling, wear, staining, and scuffs throughout leather of both chairs. Tears to leather on left arm of one chair. Large wrinkle and stress to leather across seat of one chair. Chips, nicks, losses, and wear throughout wood of legs and stretcher of both chairs. Covering to cushioning on underside of one chair is missing. Small separations to cover from underside of one chair. From a prominent Connecticut collection.
