2 carved canes / walking sticks. Naturalistic cane with carved dog and lion coat of arms handle, 41 1/8"L; cane with various woods and a carved rhinoceros form handle, 38 3/4"L. Dog cane split to wood from tip, minor scratches to handle; rhino cane with later rubber tip, scratches throughout, and minor chip to one ear. Rhinoceros cane Christie’s New York, sale 9590, October 20, 2000, the Di Portanova Collection; both collection of a prominent Connecticut family.
