2 signed Koko Sumida ware Japanese pottery vases mounted as lamps. Both with red painted bodies, glazed rims and applied decoration of figures and children. Both signed with blue Koko seals. 20"H and 29 1/2"H including lamp fittings and finial. Both with losses to red painted decoration; smaller lamp missing finial, chips, paint loss and repairs to rim, firing cracks and crazing through figures, chip to item in figure’s hand; larger lamp chip and repair to hand of one figure, section of brass missing from base.
