5 Sumida ware Japanese pottery teapots. 4 signed with blue Koko seal: 2 figures, elephants, 2 seated figures, figure with monkey. 1 signed with blue Ryosai seal: 3 monkeys. Koko monkey teapot 8 1/2"H not including handle, Ryosai monkey teapot 8 1/8"H not including handle. Teapot with 2 figures chips to spout, chips to figure in green, chips to beards of both figures, both figures missing hands, chips to underside of lid; elephant teapot missing lid, chips to rim, handle detached on one side, chips to spout, legs chipped on both elephants; teapot with 2 seated figures handle repaired, chips to rim; Koko monkey teapot chips to hand; Ryosai monkey teapot repairs to rim. All with losses to red painted decoration.
