Chilean lapidary mineral fish sculpture produced by Grecano. 20th century. Large calcite fish resting atop calcite base, surrounded by a school of fish executed in different minerals including lapis lazuli and obsidian, all sitting on basalt base. Original Grecano label is missing from base. Lines and cracking to calcite of largest fish. Lapis, obsidian, and rose-colored striped fish are loose from base. Chips, lines and losses to three smaller fish. One obsidian fish is separated from sculpture. Wear to basalt base. Repair to fin of one fish on base.
16 1/8" W x 11 /2" D x 24 1/2" H. Largest fish is 19" L.
