Aesthetic Movement Chinoiserie bamboo desk or dressing table. Late 19th century. Bamboo, lacquered top with inset leather portion, four drawers, and later casters. Wear, scratches, chips, losses, and stains throughout lacquer, leather and wood on top of desk. Nicks and scuffs to bamboo throughout desk. Wear to tooled leather on left and right sides of desk. Separations to bamboo molding on left side of desk. Losses to wood and bamboo on back right corner of desk. 36 3/4" W x 24 5/8" D x 47 1/8" H. 45 lbs.
