Six Mid Century Modern dining chairs in the style of Milo Baughman (Goodland, KS, 1923-2003). Produced by the Lane Furniture company. Alta Vista, VA, 20th century. Two arm chairs and four side chairs each with black leather seats, caned backs, and chrome legs and stretcher. Lane furniture tag on underside of seat on one chair. Tarnishing and wear throughout chrome of all chairs. Scratches, wear, bending, and tears to caned backs of all chairs. Caned back of one chair is completely torn on right side. Chair back is missing from one armchair. Chair back of second armchair is almost completely separated from arms and frame and is held by one screw. Chip to wood on lower right corner of separated frame (piece is present.) Tears to leather on corners and edges on seats of four chairs. Tears to fabric on undersides of seats of all chairs. Chips and scratches to wood on arms of armchairs. Side chair: 18 1/2" W x 21 1/4" D x 31" H. Arm chair: 22 7/8" W x 21 5/8" D x 31" H . Seat height: 16 3/4". Arm height: 24 7/8". Lot weighs 86 lbs. total.
