Pair of Mid Century Modern chest of drawers in the style of James Mont (Turkish-American, 1904- 1978). 20th century. Ming-style Chinese form feet, brass door pulls, and three slide-out drawers. No maker’s marks or labels present. Heavy scratches, chips, and losses to paint and wood on tops of both chests. Chips and losses to paint and wood along bottom edge on right side of one chest. Tarnishing to metal door pulls. Scuffs and marks throughout sides of both chests. Chips to Ming style feet of both chests. Separation of wood and molding from left front foot on one chest. 36" W x 20 1/8" D x 34" H. Each chest weighs 104 lbs.
