Neoclassical style marble column pedestal or sculpture plinth. Doric form column in veined white marble adorned with grape and vine motif around center of shaft. Column separates into five pieces. Scratches and heavy scuffs to top of pedestal. Loss to marble on second band on shaft from top. Large scuffs and scratches throughout lower half of shaft and throughout base. Large loss to marble on bottom of shaft. Chips and losses to marble throughout octagonal base. Chips and losses to leaves around center of shaft.Base measures 13 3/4" W x 13 3/4" D. 41 5/8" H x 12" diameter of top. 97 lbs.
