Louis XV style reading and writing stand. 19th century. Cabriole legs with brass mounts, side drawer for documents, two ink drawers, center drawer containing fold-out stand. Wear, scratches, marks, and split to wood of top. Losses and cracking to wood and veneer on front of stand. Small splits to wood throughout sides of stand. Later fold-out support for center drawer, portion of original support is included.16 5/8" W x 11 3/4" D x 29" H.From the collection of a prominent Connecticut family.
