Hand painted fan with three interior scene vignettes. Carved and gilt decorated mother-of-pearl guards and sticks. Fan approximately 10"H x 20 3/4"W (with frame 13 3/8" x 24 1/8"). Left guard cracked, right guard chipped, 2 sticks cracked and partially missing, creases and losses to decoration at pleats, hole in fan at center of top edge, tears at pleats, fan loose in frame and not examined out of frame.
