Charles Eames (American, Missouri, 1907-1978) and Ray Eames (American, California, 1912-1988) for Herman Miller. Molded fiberglass shell side chair. Dyed orange fiberglass with chrome legs and four plastic foot "glides". Original glides and shocks are still intact. Written Herman Miller stamp and later Cincinnati Milacron star stamp on underside of chair dates production of chair from 1965-1978. Chips and losses to fiberglass on upper left and right edges of chair. Scuffs and scratches to chrome on legs. Scratches, scuffs, and marks throughout fiberglass. Wear and marks to glides of chair. Drilled hole to center of chair on seat.
