Mid Century Modern platform sofa in the style of Adrian Pearsall (Trumansburg, NY, 1925-2011). 20th century. Veneered and black painted pressboard platform base supporting purple sofa. As is, with fading and wear throughout upholstery of sofa. Staining to wood tops of left and right sides of platform. Zipper on sofa cushion is broken and does not zip. Scratches, scuffs, chips and losses to veneer and pressboard throughout length and corners of platform base. Platform is in two pieces joined together by 8 screws which are provided with the lot.
162 1/2" W x 31 1/4" D x 28 1/4" H. Sofa and platform weighs over 250 lbs.
