7 pieces Sumida ware Japanese pottery. Pitcher and 6 mugs. All decorated in red and brown with raised figural decoration All signed with blue Ryosai seals. Pitcher 9 1/2"H, largest mug 5 1/4"H. Losses to red paint on all, hand repaired on largest mug, line from rim of 1 mug, handles repaired on 2 mugs, crazing to glaze and chip to figure in green on 1 mug.
