6 pieces Sumida ware Japanese pottery. 6 lidded tobacco humidors / jars, all with red paint decorated bodies and blue, green and brown glazed rims and lids. Jars all with applied figural decoration and figural finials. 4 round, 1 in the shape of a temple. Temple jar and 3 larger round jars all signed with blue Koko seal, jar missing lid signed with blue Ryosai seal, smaller round jar with Hand Paint Made in Japan mark to the underside. Largest jar 8"H to top of figure on lid, temple jar 6 1/4"H x 4 1/4"W. All with losses to red painted decoration; temple jar with minor chips along base; 4 larger round Koko jars all as is, with chips, cracks, repairs, restorations and losses to figures, 1 missing lid.
