2 Sumida ware Japanese pottery vases. Both with glazed rims, black paint decorated bodies and applied figures. Vase with 4 children playing, unsigned, 9 5/8"H; vase with figure and pottery, signed with blue Ryosai seal, 8"H. Losses to black painted decoration on both, repairs to rim on Ryosai vase.
