Channing Peake (American, 1910-1989). Mixed media gouache on paper, Day of Litvak. Abstract, with inscription "to commemorate the day of Litvak, March 17, 1961 Paris". Signed upper right and signed and titled in pencil on verso. 18 5/8" x 24 1/2". Unframed, stored rolled. Minor tears and creases along edges, discoloration to verso.
From the estate of Maurice Binder. Born in 1918, Maurice Binder was an American film title designer, best known for his work on 14 James Bond films, including Dr. No. He died in 1991 at the age of 72.
