James Abbott McNeill Whistler (American, 1834-1903). Etching, Billingsgate. Signed and dated 1859 in the plate, lower center. With info and 1997 Christie’s auction labels on verso. Plate 5 7/8" x 8 3/4" (with frame 15 3/8" x 20 3/8"). Some discoloration to mat, chips and losses to frame.
