2 trinket boxes, with hand painted miniatures in the lids. Bone box, with miniature of a woman reading music, unsigned, miniature 2 1/4"-diameter; gilt metal box with portrait of a woman with hat, signed illegibly, miniature 1 1/4"-diameter (box 2 3/4"L x 1 1/4"H). Chips, cracks and losses throughout bone box; gilt metal box, oxidation to lid, lid does not close firmly, staining and fraying to lining.
