Max Bill (Swiss, 1908-1994). Lithograph, Variation 13, from XXe Siecle No. 4, 1938. Unsigned, "Bille" and another illegible notation written in pencil on verso. 12 1/4" x 9 3/8". Unframed and stored rolled. Scratch and loss to color on black background upper right, slight creasing to corners, tape residue on verso, small crease visible in white section at lower left of image, light scratches visible in image.

From the estate of Maurice Binder. Born in 1918, Maurice Binder was an American film title designer, best known for his work on 14 James Bond films, including Dr. No. He died in 1991 at the age of 72.
