French Empire style marble top console. Circa 1940s. Mahogany, bronze mounts, caryatid supports, mirrored back. Marble is broken and split on its right side but supported by fiberglass tape backing. Wear to bronze mounts. Chips and losses to veneer throughout console. Heavy scratches and scuffs throughout mahogany on lower tier of console. Bronze mount with figural Hermes depiction is loose. Scratches and wear to marble top.
60 1/2" W x 13 1/4" D x 34 1/4" H. 170 lbs.
