Bausch and Lomb Harbormaster brass telescope. 20th century. Brass telescope and adjustable swivel mount set on wooden tripod with brass adjustments. "Bausch & Lomb Established in 1853" inscribed on side of telescope, numbered 3847. "35 x 76 mm JAPAN" marked on bracket of telescope near eyepiece. "BAUSCH & LOMB/EST 1888/USA" marked on underside of mount. Light scuffs, scratches and wear throughout brass and wood of telescope and tripod. Small chip and loss to wood on bottom of one tripod leg. Original lens cap is missing.
Telescope measures 48 1/8" W. Diameter of lens is 3 3/8". Tripod with mount is 57 1/2" H. Tripod at largest width is 33 1/2" W. 33 lbs. total.
