Seven Aesthetic Movement dining chairs with Eastlake attributes. Five side chairs and two armchairs with carved splats and finials. Armchairs with upholstered splats. Wear throughout wood and upholstery on all chairs. Scratches and scuffs to legs throughout all chairs. Repairs to finials on one armchair and side chair. Chip and loss to wood on back of two side chairs. Losses and wear to gilding on legs, arms, and splats. Tarnishing and wear to brass caps on front feet. One brass cap is missing from foot of one armchair. Splits and repairs to carved top rail on one side chair. Loss to carved circular motif on chair with repaired rail.
Side chair: 20" W x 22 1/4" D x 38 5/8" H. 18 1/2" seat height. Armchair: 24 1/2" W x 25 1/2" D x 42 1/2" H. Arm height 28" H, seat height 20 1/2" H. 150 lbs total.
