Federal slant front desk. 19th century. Queen Anne style, four drawers, lid drops down to reveal fitted interior with four drawers, eight cubbyholes, and one carved door. Wear, marks, and scratches throughout wood of exterior. Marks, staining and wear to wood on interior of desk and drawers. Losses to carved molding pieces on cubbyholes. Five separated pieces of molding are present. Brass on one drawer pull is separated but present. Repairs to lid. Splits and cracks to wood on left and right sides of desk. Chips and scratches to edges throughout bottom molding and feet. Tarnishing and wear to brass.
