Lot 96:
Set of six rustic farmhouse spindleback chairs. American, 19th century. Carved bentwood spindles with incised legs and stretchers. One chair with slightly tapered front stretcher. Scratches, marks, nicks and wear to wood throughout all chairs. Repair and glue remnants to spindle on one chair. Cracks and separations to carved top rails on two chairs. Metal on right side of top rail and spindle for reinforcement on one chair. Repairs to foot on one chair.
18 3/8" W x 19" D x 33 5/8" H. Seat height 18" H. Each chair weighs 8 lbs.
