Frank Vincent Dumond (American, 1865-1951). Set of 8 drawings, 7 on paper and one on board. Including studies and portraits of women and men, and landscapes. Pencil, charcoal, body color and one pastel. All unsigned.
Standing woman with Frank Vincent Dumond estate stamp lower right and on verso, and additional notation in pencil on verso "This drawing was executed by my father, Frank Vincent Du Mond, as a sketch for a Liberty Loan Bond [illegible] the U.S. government in 1947. Elizabeth DuMond Perry." Small landscape drawing with notation on verso in pencil "this drawing was executed by my father, Frank Vincent Du Mond in 1910, Elizabeth DuMond Perry". Male nude with estate stamps lower left and on verso. Study of man with notation in pencil on verso "This drawing was executed by my father, Frank Vincent Du Mond as sketches for illustrations of a story in Harper’s Weekly Magazine in 1905. Elizabeth Du Mond Perry". All unframed, matted and affixed to the mount along the top edge. Seated man in suit 22 1/2" x 14 1/4" (with mat 26 1/4" x 18"). All with minor creases to edges and corners, all with tears and losses to edges and corners, most with pinholes at corners. Standing woman large losses to edges and corners, staining upper left, detached from mount, mat torn; woman in landscape staining and foxing throughout, chips to corner of board; small landscape large losses to lower portion of sheet.
