In the style of Fred Zimbalist (Russian / American, 1909-2003). Engraved patinated and paint decorated metal music box in the form of an Indian building. Thorens disc player below the lid, front section of building opens to a fitted wooden interior with 10 slots for discs. Lid with hand painted scene of moonlight river landscape, marked made in India, otherwise unsigned. With 50 Thorens discs. In working condition, plays. 16"W x 9 1/4"D x10 1/2"H.
