Description
Carved wooden polychromatic sculpture of a man on horse. Man is removable from body of horse. Made in Mexico City written on horse. Wear throughout wood and paint of sculpture. Chips and losses to wood on right hand and horse’s right ear. Crack to wood on helmet. Wear, scuffs, and scratches to base. Small chips and losses to paint throughout. Sword, foot and arm of man are separated but present. Hair of horse’s mane and tail is worn and deteriorating.
