Louis XV style lacquered bureau plat or writing desk. 20th century. Leather inset writing surface, figural mounts, and three drawers. Key is included. "MADE IN SPAIN" impressed into underside of desk. Scratches, wear, scuffs, marks and losses to leather on top. Wear and marks throughout metal of ormolu. Losses to lacquer throughout edge of top and edges of legs. Two strips of lacquered veneer are peeling on top edge. Splits to wood on left and right sides of desk.
