2 octagonal tea caddies. Straw work tea caddy with foliate inlays, possibly made by a Napoleonic prisoner, 4 3/4"W x 5 1/4"H; tea caddy inlaid with vase of flowers decoration, 4 3/4"W x 4 5/8"H. Both with later fabric on the undersides; Straw work caddy with chips and losses throughout, large section of straw missing from front inlay, splits to all four short sides of box and lid, losses to silvering on interior of box and interior lid, lid does not close flush; vase of flowers box large vertical split down one short side and hole in corner of lid (piece present), horizontal split across lid, large chip to lid on one corner (piece present), smaller chips to front and sides, apparent repairs to back corners of lid, cracks to bottom of front inlay and inlaid decoration on one side, pieces of inlay missing from short sides, no interior lid.
