Lot 178:
Charles Eames (American, Missouri, 1907-1978) and Ray Eames (American, California, 1912-1988) for Herman Miller. Lounge chair and ottoman, numbers 670 and 671. Molded wood veneer shell with brown leather upholstery, brushed aluminum mounts, swivel chair with stationary stool. Herman Miller Single Ring on underside of chair seat. Remnants of Patent Label D155273-3124390 (1964-1978) on underside of chair seat. No labels on underside of ottoman. Chair back and seat are separated from each other. Heavy white marks, scuffs and wear to back of chair. Wear, and marks throughout metal of bases. Tear and separation to zipper and leather on cushion of ottoman.
Chair back: 33" W x 22 1/2" D x 25" H. Chair seat: 26" W x 20" x 17 1/2" H. Ottoman: 25 3/4" W x 20 3/4" D x 17" H. 76 lbs total.
