Lot 229:
Pair of Danish Modern folding scissor chairs in the style of Folke Ohlsson (Swedish, 1919-2003). Mid 20th century. Teak frame, rubber-coated spring seating and back, gray upholstered cushions. No apparent maker’s marks or labels identified. Stains, scratches, scuffs, and marks throughout wood on both chairs. Losses to rubber on springs. Stains to upholstery on two cushions. Tear and fraying to upholstery on one cushion. Chip and losses to wood on folding sections of both chairs. Cracking to wood on one side of folding section on one chair. One chair does not sit and "fold out" properly. One chair back is slightly loose.
23 3/8" W x 30 1/2" D x 27 3/4" H. 40 lbs total.
