North African chest / casket. Bone with turquoise and coral cabochons, silver tone mounts and leather lined interior. 12 1/4"L x 7 1/4"D x 10 1/4"H. Cracks and losses to stones, metal bead missing from front and lid, tears and losses to leather lining on interior of box and lid, tears and losses to leather lining on underside of box, some discoloration to bone and minor losses to dyed decoration, splits to feet, small chip around latch.
