Lot of paper valentines, Magic Lantern slides, daguerreotype. Collection of paper valentines including German, die-cut, fold-out and pop-up, pop-up "To my sweetheart" 6 1/4" x 3 7/8"; airplane "Valentine wishes" 5 1/4" x 4 3/4"; 18 J.F. German glass Magic Lantern slides in a wooden case, largest 8 5/8" x 2 3/4"; with a daguerreotype of a seated woman in a gutta percha case, case 3 3/4" x 3 1/2". Valentines most with writing, all as is, with wear, minor tears and losses throughout; Magic Lantern slides with scratches, minor losses to color, chips to box and box separating at one end; daguerreotype some desilvering, case separated at lower hinge, metal frame bent and loose at top, lining fraying, chips and losses to case.
