Lot 93:
Japanese tanto Samurai short sword. Ray skin same, brown ito, fuchi and kashira with flower motif, figural menuki on each side, lacquered wood saya (scabbard). Tang unsigned. 16 1/2"L (with saya 21 1/2"L). With two additional ray skin same. Fraying to ito and chips to wood below kashira, chips and sections of laquer missing from saya, pieces missing from saya, tarnishing and minor pitting to blade; additional same both with chips, one missing ray skin on side and side skin detached, kashira loose on one and one missing fuchi.
