Four Regency style caned and lacquered chairs. 19th century. Two armchairs and two side chairs, all with caned seats and backs with later upholstered cushions. Each chair with painted classical scenes along top rails. Chips and losses to lacquer on feet of two chairs. Loss to lacquer on top left of top rail on one chair. Splits to wood across classical scenes on three chairs. Wear throughout wood and upholstery of cushions on all chairs.
Armchair: 21 5/8" W x 24" D x 32 3/4" H. Seat height 19" H, arm height 27 1/2" H. Side chair: 17 3/4" W x 20" D x 34" H. Seat height 19" H. 60 lbs total.
