Japanese Meiji style lacquer jubako food box. 5 tiers, black lacquer with all over gilt and red fan decoration, black lacquer interior. Kanji on the underside of each tier. 9"W x 8 3/8"D x 14"H. Chips and scratches to lacquer at corners of each tier and throughout, cracks to lacquer on interior of each tier, sides separating, cracks along each side of lid, some losses to fan decoration.
