Mozart gouache illustrations, one labeled "[George] Eliot Sce. for Clerical Life" in pencil in the upper margin and "Shepparton Church Clerical Life Vol. I Page [illegible]" in ink in the lower margin, both signed Wm. J. Mozart and dated 1885, sheets 12 1/4" x 7 3/4" and 10 7/8" x 7 1/2" (not including mounts); J.W. Kennedy, gouache on board illustration from The Minute Boys of Bunker Hill by Edward Stratemeyer, signed lower left and with additional notations in the upper and lower margins, 20" x 15"; Edmund H. Garrett, gouache on board illustration Aram & Houseman in the Cave at Midnight, from Eugene Aram by Edward Bulwer-Lytton, signed with artist’s EHG monogram lower left and with info on verso, 18" x 14". Mozart both with tears, chips, losses and toning to the mounts, some discoloration and toning to images, scratches and paint loss to unlabeled painting; Kennedy with chips, tears, losses and adhesive residue to the board, tear lower right into image; Garrett chips, tears, losses and adhesive residue to the board.
