Lot 193:
2 pen & ink drawings. Walter Granville-Smith (American, 1870-1938), illustration, woman with spoon, signed lower left and with additional notations in ink and pencil in the lower margin and on verso, unframed, sheet 14 3/4" x 10 1/2". With an additional pen & ink drawing on board, Washington’s First Command, signed illegibly lower center (Rush?) and titled in pencil in the lower margin, board 14" x 22". Granville-Smith toning and discoloration to paper, smudges, tear upper right, creases to corners, sticker upper right; Washington chips and losses to board at corners and along edges, toning throughout, pinholes upper and lower left and lower center, scratch upper right.
